The Nicholl Group of Companies’ leadership in both innovation and growth in the food packaging sector goes hand in hand with a commitment to rigorous and robust quality assurance practices. As evidence of this commitment, we have undertaken to achieve the highest standards of accreditation which are testament to the high quality of both our products and the processes which produce them. Attaining these accreditations ensures that our business customers are making purchasing decisions which are accountable, assured, and guaranteed to be of the highest standards currently available in the food packaging sector worldwide.
Details are below of the globally recognised quality assurance standards which companies in the group have achieved. As we continue to innovate and respond to the needs of our customers, we will continue to review our quality assurance practices and accreditations to remain at the forefront of market standards in both product quality, and production environmental standards.
ISO 14001 Registered Firm
Nicholl Food Packaging has achieved ISO 14001 certification after a rigorous inspection of its environmental practices. The award reflects the company’s insistence not only on the highest production standards but also on contributing towards a better environment.
The ISO 14001 international standard was introduced in 1996 to evaluate the environmental management systems of companies and organisations.
The company’s green credentials include the training of all employees in environmental issues, the minimisation of material and energy wastage, controlled noise emissions, the promotion of recycling and the use of “clean” lubricants in production – which do not contain mineral hydrocarbons or GMOs (genetically modified organisms).
BRC Certified
Our certification against the BRC Global Standard means customers can be assured of our high levels of competence in all critical areas. The process of accreditation involves a comprehensive survey of site, staff, and on-site evaluation and assessments. Our achievement of the BRC standard demonstrates our commitment to monitoring and continually improving product quality, safety and legality, and assures our customers that we have taken every possible precaution to prevent any problems should there ever be a challenge made against a product packaged by Nicholl.
The BRC accreditation is especially valuable to businesses who need to ensure paramount protection of their brand name and their branded food products: that the Nicholl Group of Companies has made the utmost commitment to their responsibility as a packaging manufacturer. The BRC Global Standard Food is a single verification not only ensuring fulfillment of legal obligations and commitment to quality, but also consumer protection.
